THE AUTHOR

John McCarthy is an average historically minded retired citizen whose curiosity was piqued by an unfamiliar name (Emilio Aguinaldo) and an equally unfamiliar series of wars known as The Spanish American War/The Philippine Insurrection. His research led to a family connection complimentary to the events in the book.
